Ok Taco.22 I have decided I have been using Scorpio on a spare hard drive long enough.  I am planning on installing it on the main hard drive for this laptop replacing PClos OpenBox Bonsai.

So I will be dual booting Win XP and Scorpio.

I think the router has a bad circuit finally.
Today it says "connectivity problem modem/router"
but the good old eth0 connects right up.
