My memory's getting terrible.  :-[

Thanks. I know about gingko biloba and that the tree is actually a living fossil, dating back to some 270 million years ago. I learned only recently that gingko biloba trees in Hiroshima survived the atomic bomb blast of Hiroshima in 1945 (http://kwanten.home.xs4all.nl/hiroshima.htm).

Very amazing.

Yes it's quite amazing. Do anyone report if other types of plants survived the bombing? I do like taking Ginko during some periods of time once a while. I mostly always have some at home.

Yes, some did, depending on what shelter was around them at the time. There is a 300 year old palm listed on this page (http://www.lang-arts.com/survivors/shukkeien.html).

Very good.
