What is Pisi Linux?

Pisi Linux is a 'rolling-release' GNU/Linux operating system.
It was created as a successor to the PiSi-based Pardus Linux, after it was declared End Of Life in 2012.

Pisi Linux has included very fine components such as:

COMAR (COnfigurationMAnageR), designed to facilitate the integration and co-existence of software

MUDUR, designed to streamline the boot process.

PISI (Packages Installed Successfully, as Intended), is Turkish for kitty and was the name given to the custom packaging system developed for Pardus Linux.

YALI (Yet Another Linux Installer), the custom installer.

KAPTAN, is Turkish for captain and is the desktop greeter, which start at the first start. It allows a user to change the settings.

The Highlights in Pisi Linux 1.2 are the following:

Linux Kernel: 3.19.8
KDE: 4.14.3
Mozilla Firefox: 38.0.5
GIMP: 2.8.14
Calligra Suite: 2.8.7
Clementine: 1.2.3
Qt4: 4.8.6
Qt5 : 5.4.1 *New
glibc: 2.20
binutils: 2.24
coreutils: 8.23

Pisi Linux 1.2 currently exists only in 64bit form. But 32-bit packages are included for applications such as
Skype and Steam. Codecs for playing audio and video files are included.

Anything else?

There are more than 6000 packages in our repositories, with more added all the time.
And Pisi Linux is translated in a lot of languages such as :Turkish, English, Dutch, German, Russian, Spanish, French, Hungarian,
Italian, Croatian, Swedish, Ukrainian, Polish and Portuguese (Brazil). Translation to other languages is on-going.

Thanks for your presentation. Just a question, are there some screenshots posted on your website? Do the users show their desktops?
