Hi to you all
I would like to share my present works, created on debian, I talk about my album, emotion-dub, which as its name suggests, is dubpalte music , for fans.
It is compressed in .Zip format, which is in my experience, the most used, and the music is in .Mp3
https://www.dropbox.com/s/6ghgpuej60ox52h/%C3%A9motion-dub.zip (https://www.dropbox.com/s/6ghgpuej60ox52h/%C3%A9motion-dub.zip)
and here is the custom cover, made with gimp on my debian, by myself available in .jpg

I wish you a good time with my album in the hope you like it.

Although I'm able to extract zip files using file-roller, I cannot extract that one. I get a 7zip error. Here's what I get using 7z from a CLI:
7z t émotion-dub.zip
7-Zip 9.20 Copyright (c) 1999-2010 Igor Pavlov 2010-11-18
p7zip Version 9.20 (locale=en_US.UTF-8,Utf16=on,HugeFiles=on,2 CPUs)
Processing archive: émotion-dub.zip
Error: Can not open file as archive
And here's what I get from unzip:
unzip émotion-dub.zip
Archive: émotion-dub.zip
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
unzip: cannot find zipfile directory in one of émotion-dub.zip or
émotion-dub.zip.zip, and cannot find émotion-dub.zip.ZIP, period.

Hi,
It's a zip, not a 7z file.
I just clicked to it and told Firefox to open it with file-roller. Beware: the files are all in the zip directly, not in a folder. ;)
/ did you get a bad download, or did 7z spoil the archive? Here no problem met either with file-roller or with the unzip command.

I must have gotten a bad download. I tried again and the file is fine now. My apologies, arthyx.

arthyx,
What software do you use for creating your music?
