The site is back up so looks like we will be pushing the OS out for user wide testing. I posted in the Gambas mailing list that we are looking for Gambas3 made apps so we will see what happens with it.

Hi John!
This looks like good news. Would you clarify a bit the topic, for the members who would not have followed the former discussions on the other forum ? That would be nice, as well as a pic or two if you have some (shrimps ? :) )

@ Djohnston
If it is OK with you, we are adding your name to the contributor page at gambos.org. Thanks for all the help you have given me big guy.
@ Everyone
I will upload images and links as soon as I can, posting from my iPad so can't do it from here.

Looking forward to it.

Dang, almost forgot....
Finally got off my butt and did some programming, putting the final touches on my Conky Manager. Start, stop and changing scripts with a mouse and GUI interface. Got to love it......

Oops! One more thing,
Some of the better programmers are talking about making a GUI packaging app for .deb files. I thought this might be of interest to you guys, I will let you know if I hear more on it.
-
Hi kona : a gui app will sure be an exciting thing to try. I have two programs to package, and the whole process is overly complicated! I don't have the courage to start yet, knowing all the time it will require.
Can you open a new thread when you will be ready to bring this news ? ;)
-
Sure, it might be a while but I will push for it.

Thanks and you're welcome. And, while I'm thinking about it, if the Deb version has an /etc/X11/xorg.conf file, remove it. It may cause problems during the live session.

Wahoo! The web site is live...

Is the first download the signed autographed edition ;) :)

I have downloaded and launched the ISO. Just a quick comment - no guides on the desktop and no bookmarks in Chromium. Like the prawn though!

Hi,
Just a question for the organization of our forum : starting from kona's post with the link to the gambas website : it's not about the "create masters" section anymore, right ? Doesn't this need a thread in a forum dedicated to the other OS'es (http://linuxvillage.net/index.php/board,36.0.html) ?

What, specifically? Nevermind, I answered your other post.

No problem, but you would not mind opening a specific thread about it in the said section, and present the project, so to let all who are not yet aware have some idea on what it is about, with a brief presentation ?
